Dr. Sulner is a veterinarian for a simple reason: she feels a deep bond with animals, and dedicates her life to helping them. She also loves the connection that grows between her and pet owners, as they share a love for their pet. Dr. Sulner commits herself to staying ahead of the curve in veterinary medicine, meaning your pet will always receive the best care available. Her love for animals is so infectious that her children can't wait to become veterinarians themselves!
Dr. Sulner earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Since graduating from veterinary school, she has done both General and Emergency medicine at veterinary practices throughout North and Central NJ before opening up Happy Pets Veterinary Hospital, PC with her husband.
Dr. Sulner lives in Central New Jersey with her husband Robert, daughter Emma, son Ethan, three cats: Remington, Mr. Jinx, Rocket and three dogs: Rufus, Buster, and Happy. She enjoys spending time with the family, scuba diving, visiting Disney and getting away to the beautiful Carribean Islands whenever she has the chance.
Dr. Jennifer Feeney
Dr. Jennifer Feeney has loved animals since she was a little girl. She dreamed of being a veterinarian since she played doctor with her stuffed animals and rescued butterflies from her yard to try to mend their wings or turtles on the road to glue their shells.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Feeney attended Seton Hall University before graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She has worked for several veterinary hospitals in and around New Jersey, including a 24-hour emergence clinic and a sizeable local animal shelter.
She was awarded the Good Neighbor Award from Henry Schein Animal Health in honor of her dedication and contribution to sharing the value of animals to residents in her local community. She is a massive advocate of shelter medicine and volunteers her time every week at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, helping keep pets waiting for their new homes healthy and adoptable.
Dr. Feeney is married and lives in Bridgewater with her husband, Kevin, and their two sons. Her favorite past times are reading, writing (she's currently writing a young adult fantasy novel series), horseback riding, yoga, and baking all things chocolate.
She shares her life with some fantastic rescued pets: including too many cats to name, a couple of silly mutts, some adopted hermit crabs, and a beautiful aquarium of tropical fish. If she could, she'd have chickens, goats, a horse, and some beehives too! You just can't have too many pets!
