Dr. Sulner earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Since graduating from veterinary school, she has done both General and Emergency medicine at veterinary practices throughout North and Central NJ before opening up Happy Pets Veterinary Hospital, Inc. with her husband.
Dr. Sulner lives in Central New Jersey with her husband Robert, daughter Emma, son Ethan, three cats: Aboo, Mr. Jinx, Rocket and three dogs: Rufus, Buster, and Happy. She enjoys spending time with the family, scuba diving, visiting Disney and getting away to the beautiful Carribean Islands whenever she has the chance.
During veterinary school, he also participated in rural veterinary service programs for milk producing farmers and a great badminton college player. After immigrating to Canada with his lovely wife and two kids, he worked different odd jobs to settle into new Country and extreme cold weather.
He joined Seneca College and received Veterinary Technician diploma and ultimately passed VTNE exam to get Registered Veterinary Technician title, worked as an RVT /RAHT in different Veterinary clinics in Canada. While working as a technician, he was preparing & studying very hard to upgrade his Veterinary Licence for North America. He passed ECFVG program with series of veterinary examinations to get Veterinary Licence to practice in Canada and the United States.
Dr. Patel has good experience in mixed practice in Saskatchewan and Alberta in Canada, where he had helped many small animals pet patents, equine and cattle farmers for their animal’s health. Dr. Patel ran his own small animal veterinary practice successfully for several years, then he moved to USA, working as a New Jersey Licensed Veterinarian.
Dr. Patel is very enthusiastic and excited about his duties towards sick pets, make them feel better so that they can go home and bring happiness to their families. Building trusted relationship with his clients in care of their pets brings him immense satisfaction everyday. Dr. Patel has such a ‘Caring Heart for Pets.’
Dr. Patel is a surgeon, and his special interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine/endocrinology and preventative medicine. He is actively involved in pursuing continuing education and learning the very latest treatments and diagnostic techniques. Dr. Patel helps many rodents for their medical problems, dentistry and surgeries.
He enjoys in educating his team and his clients to help ensure that all pets maintain the highest quality of life and health. He is an active member of AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), NJVMA (New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association) and AAVIO (American Association of Veterinarians of Indian Origin). He is Accredited Veterinarian to help Pet travel certification as per USDA guidelines.
Dr. Patel and his family made Somerset NJ their home. He enjoys live music, Bollywood movies, reading, camping and trying new restaurants. He believes in nature, prayers, mindfulness, Yoga.
